About Me

My name is Kelsey Davis Hunt and I am from Littleton, Colorado. Here's what you should know about me:

I am the proud wife of Taylor and mama to Ava Grace (2 1/2) and Greyson Scott (one month old as of now!) This was taken on Greyson's due date, Christmas 2024.

I served a mission in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East mission and it was a crazy and amazing experience. Though I took 20 credits of Spanish in college, Dominican Spanish kicked my booty. But am so grateful for everything I learned there and the people I met and came to love!

I got my BA in English from BYU and my MA in Conflict Resolution at the University of Denver. My fun claim to fame is that I have met all three female Secretaries of State which is fun because that's my dream job.

I work as the Climate and Culture Coordinator at an elementary school. I am an admin and get to focus on all the fun stuff like behavior and systems!

I got my BA in English from BYU and my MA in Conflict Resolution at the University of Denver. I love to problem solve and story tell and am proud of both of my non traditional degrees. My fun claim to fame is that I have met all three female Secretaries of State which is fun because that's my dream job.

I absolutely adore all of these things:
  • My family
  • The color purple (the color of royalty. Also, nearly all my wardrobe is this color)
  • Chicken salad sandwiches
  • Boss women (RBG is my fave and the reason why I go by my intials-KDH)
  • Donhts
  • Mountains/Colorado
  • Sparkles
I have a somewhat obsessive personality. If I like something, then I know a lot about it/them. (I wrote this line in 2014 which makes me laugh now as I was diagnosed with OCD after having my daughter in 2022. Oh Kelsey)

My favorite thing in the world is sitting on the couch in my living room reading.

My favorite book is The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen but I am now newly into romantasy.

Colorado will always have my heart, but DC is a pretty close second. I am trying to convince Taylor to move there eventually.

I've never been on a sports team.

My TV doppelganger is Leslie Knope.

I wholeheartedly believe there is a Taylor Swift, Florence and the Machine, or Adele song for any situation.

And I truly believe in doing for one what I wish I could do for everyone, which is why it's the background picture. Welcome to my blog. Come and stay awhile!

Love you all,
Kels
